A traditional pub in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park

NEW INN

Welcome to the New Inn, a traditional inn found in the village of Bwlch. The Inn is the last surviving hostelry in the village and is run by Neil and Sarah and Rocky the pub dog.

The New Inn is a small, cozy pub serving both the community and visitors to the area. It is dog friendly and muddy boots and children are made welcome.
There is a roaring fire to warm your chills on cold days and an outdoor area if you wish to take advantage of our sunny days in Wales –they are far more common than you would think!

Beacons Backpackers

Attached to the pub is The Beacons Backpackers, bunkhouse style accommodation, an ideal base for walking, cycling or exploring other local activities.
Whether you are visiting the New Inn for a homemade pie and a pint of real ale at the end of a days hiking, staying with us or just passing through, we hope your experience will be enjoyable.

Great Rooms

The accommodation at the Beacons backpackers can be hired by the room or as sole occupancy.
There are 3 rooms and 12 beds.
